Description
This portrait was taken for the Big Issue- a UK based social enterprise magazine which helps those who are homeless or living in poverty- before an event Andy and Lucky Charm were attending in Parliament. For many Big Issue vendors their pets are a lifeline offering much needed company, affection and responsibility. The bond that develops between the owners and pets can be more significant than that any with other human, so I wanted to characterise this sense of unity in the portrait- Andy and Lucky Charm are extensions of each other.
