Low Light Photography
Praa Sands
Canon R5 Aquatech housing Aquatech D-strobes. 10-20mm RF Canon.
I headed out at sunset, wanting to create something a bit different and simple in a way. The sea was incredibly clear, and the sky had promising colour. I played with shutter speeds, as I also experimented with ICM photography. There were frequent small waves that rode up against the water housing. Timing was key and a balance of natural light and the strobe, I was able to capture a rhythmic scene, but maintaining sharp contours of the seabed. All in one photographic, one exposure.
