Description
Context: Heveningham Concours is an annual luxury motoring and historical aviation event held at Heveningham Hall with many different things to see. The Old Flying Machine owned MKIXb Supermarine Spitfire, MH434, at take-off, under carriage just retracted. One of the most famous and original airworthy Spitfires in the world. Built in August 1943 at Castle Bromwich, it flew combat missions with the RAF's 222 Squadron. Owned and flew by Ray Hanna (as part of the Old Flying Machine Company) who, himself was a distinguished RAF pilot and founding member of the RAF Red Arrows. Intent: Low level take off pan, undercarriage retracted, full propeller blur Camera, Lens & Settings: • F-Stop: f/13 • Exposure Time: 1/80 • ISO Speed: 100 • Focal Length: 230mm Additional Information: Free hand capture from public access area using my second hand, and much cherished equipment and still very much pinching myself for being in the right place, right time to capture this magnificent aircraft!!
