This image is deeply special to me because, in a single unrepeatable frame, it captures our modern cultural obsession with the curated selfie. While attempting to photograph my own reflection in the glass chasing my shadow, I accidentally caught a third, more conscious version of myself—a quiet observer watching the vain pursuit of perfection. By capturing both the observer and the observed in one stunning composition, framing the framer, it touches on the profound duality of modern self-presentation.
