This image explores the relationship between visibility, identity and self-possession. The veil represents the boundaries between what we choose to reveal and what we choose to protect. While partially enclosed, the subject remains commanding and assured, challenging the idea that concealment equates to vulnerability. Veiled is ultimately a reflection on agency — the quiet power of defining how, when and by whom we are seen.
