Description
Ian is a gentleman juggler. Phenomenally skilled and still using traditional props such as cigars, canes, teacups and spoons, Ian is a true vaudevillian. I wanted to capture him by using a photographic process from the golden era of music hall, so I used the Victorian wet plate collodion process. When he arrived at the studio, among his many props, he had a walking stick with him, I instantly knew the image I wanted to capture... 8x10 inch wet plate collodion tintype.
