Description
A wolf spider carries her young through the undergrowth in my garden. Dozens of spiderlings are clinging tightly to their mothers abdomen. This is a moment I have wanted to capture for some time with the aim to showcase their habitat and reliance on their mother for survival at this early stage. In this shot i tried to give the spider a sense of scale, the environment she is photographed in gives the impression of something much larger. This is a focus stacked image of 47 photos.
