Bellever Forest, Dartmoor
Sony ILCE-7RM3 - Tamron 17-28mm
This image was taken back on 01/02/2024 I had no goal in mind on this trip, it was just planned to be a nice walk with my partner, I took the camera just in case as Dartmoor is a beautiful location with so much photographic potential. On walking through the forest I was a bit underwhelmed on the photography front, although a beautiful place I didn't see any compositions. We walked along this stream in the opposite direction but it wasn't until walking back on the return this composition revealed itself. I set up the camera on the tripod, popped on an ND filter to smooth out the water and bracketed the shots as the bright sun was getting low. the bracketed shots were at 17mm, F14 iso 100 @ 1.3 seconds, 5 seconds and 20 seconds these were blended then edited and then re-edited before submitting today. Colour balance, exposure, contrast and masks for local adjustments.
