Landscape
Glymur, Vesturland, Iceland.
Sony A7R II & Sony 16-35mm Lens
A dizzying perspective overlooking one of Iceland’s tallest waterfalls, Glymur. After visiting years earlier and failing to capture this composition, I returned with a 90-degree tilt tripod purchased expressly for this vantage point. With my camera dangling precariously over the precipice, I admit that every part of my body was shaking. To fully convey the immense scale of the chasm, I stitched several vertical frames together to encompass the whole scene — a true giant's gorge. Camera details: Focal Length 16mm; Exposure 0.5-2.0 sec (5-frame bracket); f/22; ISO 64
