Nikon Z8 with 70-200mm f2.8 lens with monopod
Description
In Lake Nakuru National Park on safai, we met a pride of lions with cubs that were quite active. I very quickly attached my monopod to my Nikon Z8 with 70-200mm f2.8 lens and hung it over the edge of the jeep hoping that the cubs would show an interest. I struck lucky when this one walked directly towards the lens. I think he could see himself in the glass. Fired with a remote a have a full sequence of images of him coming closer and closer. Taken in June 2026, 1/800 sec, f4, 110mm, ISO 800
