Description
This image was inspired by the Old Master still-life style of painting and some gorgeous British apricots from my local independent grocers. Its a mix of summer harvest with a contemporary setting. Apricots and homemade oat biscuits against deep teal fabric, with the ornate frame creating the illusion of a painting within a painting. I wanted the image to feel rich, abundant, tactile and capture the beautiful light along with teh warmth of summer.
