Description
Taken above Bled Island in Slovenia during an evening flight with my DJI Mini 3 Pro. As the sun began to set, I noticed the low light casting an extraordinary, elongated shadow of the island's church across the turquoise waters of Lake Bled. I sent the drone higher and positioned it directly above the island to emphasise the contrast between the small, brightly lit island and the enormous silhouette stretching away from it. The tiny boat and lone paddleboarder were unplanned additions, but became two of my favourite details in the frame, giving a sense of scale to both the island and its shadow.
