Description
I saw this couple sat admiring peacefully the Caravaggio when a young girl came and stood inches from the painting and took a photo of it with her mobile phone and then walked away ..it got me for so many reasons, it was the annoyance that she was in the way of this couple also the fact that a quick snap was good enough for such a beautiful painting, what would Caravaggio think? It also made me sad that the upcoming generation don’t know how to just “be” and appreciate in that moment . The irony is of course that I took the shot on my phone! But at least I saw the moment .
