Description
Second only to London, Berlin is my favourite place to shoot street photography. The people are friendly and the architecture presents lots of opportunities to capture geometric compositions with a human element. I visited many of the common locations including the Marie-Elizabeth Luders building and photographed joggers and cyclist passing the iconic building. This image shows someone crossing the sky bridge over the Spree river towards the M-E Luders building. I have cropped the image to show three of the bridge boxes taking up approximately 1/3rd of the image. I love the clean simplicity of the image offered by the shapes, structural element ,monochrome presentation and a single person in motion.
